South Main Gunnison is an inspiring mixed use creative zone on the Western Slope of Colorado.  The South Main Gunnison, Industrial Park for Good is a functional prototype of a Holonic Enterprise. SMG is a living experiment and a template for small scale, live/work, mixed use, Real (E)state and Oikonomic Development working towards contributing to a culture of regeneration and vitalization in the region in which we dwell.

Sanctuary Somatics

Rooted in the belief that mindful movement can cultivate greater health, presence, and connection, Sanctuary Somatics is a vibrant wellness studio and gathering place in the heart of Gunnison.

Through yoga, meditation, qigong, breathwork, sound healing, ecstatic dance, and other embodied practices, the studio offers opportunities to reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and nurture well-being in body, mind, and spirit.

Whether seeking strength, restoration, stress relief, or meaningful community, Sanctuary Somatics welcomes people of all ages, abilities, and experience levels into a supportive space where every body belongs.

Blue Thunder Circle ARTifactory

Dedicated to the practice, production, and exploration of art, the ARTiFactory is home to the working studios of visionary painters Amanda Sage and Joe Bob Merritt, along with occasional guest artists and collaborators.

The space includes painting studios, a wood shop, and a metal fabrication shop, providing the tools and environment for projects that bridge fine art, craftsmanship, and creative experimentation.

Located within South Main Gunnison, the ARTiFactory serves as a place where ideas take shape through making. While its primary focus is supporting the work of resident artists, it also hosts select workshops, community events, and cultural initiatives that foster creativity, skill sharing, and meaningful connection throughout the Gunnison Valley.

Mountain Roots Food Project

Cultivating a resilient local food system through regenerative agriculture, food access, education, and community partnerships, Mountain Roots helps nourish both people and place. Its work strengthens connections between local farms, fresh food, and the Gunnison Valley community.

South Main is proud to support several Mountain Roots initiatives, including its container farms and the historic Fruit Growers Express refrigerator railcar, which serves as a produce aggregation and cold-storage hub. During the summer harvest season, the railcar also becomes the weekly distribution site for Mountain Roots' Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, connecting residents directly with fresh food from local and regional farms.

Tiger Electric is the featured band for the July 21 Music Cruise! 

Tiger Electric delivers a high-energy blend of garage punk, surf, and pop, featuring powerhouse female vocals, bass, drums, and their signature electric ukulele!

🚲 Hop on your bicycle and meet us at Jorgensen Hockey Rink at 5:30 PM. Then we’ll Ride N Vibe through SoTo (South of Tomichi) with Tiger Electric leading the way. Our bike parade will roll up to Sanctuary Somatics, where we’ll keep the good vibes going with more live music, delicious food, and community connection.

Fuerza Cora Brasil Musical will take the stage, followed by DJ Skyler from Gunnison Valley Entertainment spinning tunes until dark. 🎶🎵🎶
